Tower House Pharmacy offers a “No Worries” service

Tower House Pharmacy has become accredited as a “No Worries” pharmacy to provide sexual health advice to young persons.

Specially trained team members at the pharmacy can now register young persons for a C-card and provide advice and help on supplying emergency contraception (Morning after pill), chlamydia testing and treatment. “No worries” is available to young persons under the age of 21 in North Somerset.

In addition our pharmacists and team have undergone extra training to ensure these services can be provided to persons up to the age of 25. A private consultation room is available and young persons can be reassured this service is free of charge and confidential. Young persons can attend on their own, with a family member or with a friend.

Emma Wilson (dispenser) who has set up the accreditation in the pharmacy commented “With the advantage of extended opening times we felt that we should become accredited for these services, enabling us to make a difference to the health of young people in North Somerset”
