Tower House Pharmacy highlights the importance of compassion in pharmacy

Tower House Pharmacy has taken part in the “Compassion in Pharmacy Practice” pilot project along with 13 other local pharmacies. The pharmacies taking part are scored against delivering high quality care focusing on the 6Cs (care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment) when interacting with customers.
Customers have been completing a questionnaire at the end of their visit to say how they felt they were treated and whether the pharmacy team were approachable and supported them in understanding their medication. The results of the survey have been collected by Richard Brown, Chief Officer of the Local Pharmacy Committee, and shared with the pharmacy each week. The pharmacy team at Tower House received extremely high marks each week with customers praising how efficient and helpful they are.
Tower House Pharmacy Manager Jonathan Wood said, “Customers always come first at Tower House Pharmacy. They are at the heart of everything we do. I’m pleased that this is reflected in our scores and it is a credit to our team”.
