South Kirkby Pharmacy Supports Stoptober
Staff at South Kirkby Pharmacy in South Kirkby are getting behind the upcoming Stoptober campaign running throughout October.

The annual campaign, which was launched on 1st October 2013 seeks to highlight the benefits of giving up through stopping smoking for 28 days. Research shows that stopping smoking for 28 days makes you 5 times more likely to stay smoke free for good.

Kay Eaton, manager at South Kirkby Pharmacy, said: “It’s no secret that the benefits of quitting smoking are enormous, both in terms of health and your bank balance.”

“A massive part of my role as a community pharmacist is to support anyone who wants to stop smoking. Quitting is a challenging thing to do and we’re here to guide our patients and help them to find what works for them.”
