Crewkerne Pharmacy’s Charity Box Is Stolen
Last week Crewkerne pharmacy had their Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK charity box stolen from the pharmacy counter. The box was almost full and would have contained around £50. Fortunately the culprit was captured on CCTV and the footage has been passed onto the local police.

The pharmacy team who have been raising money for Make-A-Wish® are making a collective donation of £65 to Make-A-Wish to cover the theft of the box.

Crewkerne pharmacy announced that Make-A-Wish, which grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions, is its nominated charity of the year for 2014.

Pharmacy Manager Andy Mckee, said: “We are deeply saddened that someone would steal a charity box. The team all pulled together to make up the stolen money out of their own pockets.  Make-A-Wish is a really special charity and it’s great that we can contribute to granting more magical wishes to deserving children and young people.”

If you would like to make a  donation to Make-A-Wish visit the team at Crewkerne Pharmacy, Crewkerne Health Centre, Middle Path, Crewkerne TA18 8BX.
