Community Pharmacies rally to raise money for two children’s charities
Local integrated pharmacy services provider Community Pharmacies (UK) Ltd took part in a four-day pan European charity rally to raise money for two children’s charities.

Community Pharmacies’ Founder and Managing Director, Andrew Murray and Operations Director Kevin Joshua took part in the annual Scumrun across Europe under the team name of ‘Two Directors’, raising over £2,300 for charity. They donated the first £500 raised to Scumrun’s charity Tommy’s, with over £1800 going to Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK.

The “Two Directors” started each day in a mystery location driving in a car that cost no more than £500 at the time of purchase; the rally took them 3,000 miles across the continent.

Andrew Murray said: “It was great to take part in this year’s Scumrun. Not only was it a lot of fun, but we also raised money for a charity that Community Pharmacies is committed to supporting. Our fundraising page is still open. The more we can raise, the more magical wishes we can help grant to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions”
